JAGS Property Group

Our motto, “Keeping in Touch with the Community” isn’t just a tagline; it’s how we operate, day in and day out.

Proud to be Your Local Estate Agent

At JAGS (Joshua Andrew George Smith) Property Group, being local estate agents in Gravesend means more than just helping people buy and sell homes; it means being part of the fabric of our community.

Our motto, “Keeping in Touch with the Community” isn’t just a tagline; it’s how we operate, day in and day out.

Community is Key

Over the years, we’ve raised money for incredible causes like The Ahoy Centre, The Royal Marsden, MIND, The Alzheimer’s Society, and Ellenor Hospice — including sponsoring Ellenor’s brilliant Christmas Lights Campaign. We’re also proud sponsors of Gravesend RFC, a club I’ve played at since I was a kid, and still turn out for today.

Our annual Charity Golf Event held at Redlibbets has just grown and grown. Every year, raising money for different charities including MIND, The Kent Autism Trust, ADSS, Ellenor Hospice, and this year, The Kent Cancer Trust. All causes are very close to our hearts.

But it’s not just about money; we actively support local businesses and community groups in any way we can.

From giving local businesses a boost on our social media and through our network, to sponsoring events, donating prizes, and promoting great causes, we’re always looking for ways to lift others up. If you’re a local business and want to collaborate, we’d love to chat.

We’ve also become a bit locally famous for our community giveaways, delivering Easter Eggs at Easter and dropping off bags of sweets to Halloween-decorated homes and running competitions. It’s simple, but it brings joy and it’s something we love doing.

We work closely with local schools too, sponsoring their events with advertising boards and prizes, and getting involved with Careers Days. It’s important to us to show young people what a career in estate agency can look like, modern, rewarding, and grounded in genuine connection with people.

We are, of course, an Estate Agency and our approach is simple:

✅ Independent & Local – We're based in Gravesend, not a call centre. You’ll always deal with real people who know the area and care about your outcome.
✅ Proven Results – Our listings go under offer in 34 days on average, compared to 68 days locally.
✅ Trusted by Hundreds – Nearly 200 clients have rated us 5 stars on Google, not just for results, but for the way we treat people.
✅ Straight Talking, No Fluff – We tell you what you need to hear, not what we think you want to hear. That’s how we get homes sold properly.

We’ve helped clients across Gravesend, Istead Rise, New Barn, Longfield, Hartley, Meopham, Ebbsfleet Valley, Greenhithe, Higham, Rochester, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Canning Town, and beyond, and we’re proud to have grown through word of mouth, recommendations, and repeat business.

But beyond the property side, our goal is to give back wherever we can, to champion young people, support the next generation, and make sure we’re contributing something positive to the area we love.

Josh has lived in the area his whole life. He grew up in Riverview Park, but now lives in Istead Rise with his partner and two children. He knows first-hand how special this corner of Kent is. It’s safe, welcoming, and full of community spirit, whether you’re walking the dog or heading to the local shops, there’s always a familiar face.

Before founding JAGS, he worked in a corporate estate agency in Canary Wharf, where I learned a lot, but he also saw what was missing. The personal touch. Real communication. A proper understanding of people, not just property. That’s why he set up JAGS: to build a better way of doing estate agency, one that genuinely puts clients and community first.

Back in 2020, Jacqui joined Josh with a shared vision for what JAGS Property Group could become: a people-first, community-driven estate agency that does things differently. They started by building the business from the ground up, focusing on relationships, honesty, and high standards.

Six months later, Michelle came on board to help with the admin... and quickly became our Sales Progression Queen, keeping deals on track and clients in the loop every step of the way.

In 2022, Aran joined as a trainee and has grown into a key part of the team, now excelling in negotiations and office management.

Around the same time, Sam became our Virtual PA, supporting Jacqui and Michelle with everything from admin to social media, keeping the back-end of the business running smoothly.

Then came Connor in January 2024 — he started with us on work experience... and never left! He’s now a valuable member of the team and a great example of how we support local talent.

Most recently, we’ve welcomed Sukhy and Silvana to the JAGS family, and the team continues to grow as the demand for what we do keeps building.

In just six years, JAGS Property Group has become one of the leading estate agents in Gravesend and across Kent — not by following the crowd, but by putting people and community at the heart of everything we do. We've consistently outperformed traditional and national brands, and we're only just getting started.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built so far, but even more grateful to every homeowner, landlord, buyer, and tenant who’s trusted us along the way.

Here’s to the next chapter. Let’s see where this year takes us!
