Pretty Perfect Crafts

This small business is the brainchild of one of our clients, Pritte, a local Riverview Park resident.

She started her journey in 2022 after the birth of her second daughter, during a challenging period of post-natal depression, struggling to find a way forward.

During the Queen’s Jubilee, her eldest daughter needed something special to wear for the celebrations. With some Union Jack ribbon on hand, she followed a tutorial and crafted two little bows. Looking back, she laughs at how imperfect they were, but to her surprise, another mother noticed them and asked if she sold them. In that moment, she hesitated—then said yes. That small exchange sparked something within her, and she soon realised that creating something she loved was helping her through post-natal depression.

From that simple beginning, the business has grown. While she still faces challenges with PND, making bows continues to be a source of comfort and joy.

Each bow is handmade with care—no special cutting machines, just passion and dedication. Her creations have been sold in pop-up shops at Bluewater Shopping Centre, and she still has moments of disbelief, thinking, “Wow, people actually want to buy my work!”

She is now selling her products as part of the Ark Heritage, which has returned to Bluewater. This space brings together a carefully curated collection of independent brands, each showcasing exquisite handmade pieces across gifts, homeware, and fine art. The unit is located on the Upper Circle, opposite Next and Primark.

In addition, she has supplied bows to a well-known children's boutique in Westfield Shopping Centre and contributed to the stunning performances of New Eltham Dance

She is currently selling Comic Relief bows, with profits being donated to Comic Relief.
